I had an ileostomy in February 2017 for colonic inertia, diverticulosis and pelvic floor issues. I had a revision and total colostomy in June of 2018 This particular surgery was certainly never on my radar, if you know what I mean. I've always had an intense fear of becoming a bag lady... I just never realized it would be this kind of bag!!I'm interested in ideas and pointers for a successful recovery. I would especially like to discuss the physical AND emotional aspects of our "new normal".
I love to chat... including the listening part. I have to admit, I enjoy reading profiles ~ let the record state I'm not trying to hit on anyone (male or female) just because I read your story.
On a personal note... I am a woman who loves Christ, my husband, my friends and (true) family fiercely! I pray for them and all others.
I'm truly interested to see what you have to say. I love to ask questions and I'm an open book :)
