I'm 59 and a Crohn's patient since I was 17. I had a temporary ostomy when I was 21 (great way to feel attractive at that age). I recently went with a permanent ostomy (surgeries #19 and 20).
As a general rule most of this isn't new to me so talking about it has almost no entertainment value. However, I appreciate the experience of others and am not shy about sharing my experiences so if I can help, I will.
I'm about to be an empty-nester so in many ways my life is entering new phases; all of which I welcome.
