I am an artist, I have been fortunate to have lived in some great cities where I went to college, Boston, NYC and now I reside in the D.C. area. I truly find beauty in every day with the exception of shoveling snow but it is pristine to look at certainly. I never feel sorry for myself because there is always someone who is much worse off then me so I count my blessings every day. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by very loving people that have helped me over the years. I love to garden, cook, I am very passionate about life and I will never give up on the hope that someday there will be a cure for Chrohn's disease...

I would like to meet someone who truly understands the sadness and new challenges I have to deal with having gone through radical colorectal surgery. I am an artist, I love life, I remain positive throughout this new life altering ordeal but I think unless someone who has been through similar life altering changes as I have cannot even comprehend what physical and emotional life trauma there is to deal with. I am tall, I am fit and slender, I take care of myself, I am attractive but I truly think that whomever I choose to spend time with needs to understand what hardships that can occur with Crohn's disease and the frustrations of ostomy bags that can entail! I wear my scars proudly and have even sewed some ostomy bag covers. I would like to hear your war stories and how you cope with your new life adjustment...
