Yes, I don't risk it.

Came across an old post doing an internet search..

Was checking on POPCORN !!!!!

I had my colon removed about a year ago. I eat everything from beans to popcorn.

Only issue I have is gas... with the beans.

Have to vent the bag before it causes leaks.

Pouch vents seem to be a joke...

Love my popcorn and got a microwave popper.

Was seeing if anyone else was pigging out on it with no problems....

MeetAnOstoMate is an awesome group of people, going through similar issues. There is always someone who has information to contribute. I've been a basic member for years, just now decided to bump up to premium. Huge wealth of knowledge and support here, these people are great.

Hi Katdanielle_93....I am an ileostomy mate. I received the do and don't list, but I diverted from it...my rule of thumb is to try anything I want in moderation to see for myself. The latest has been salad and corn on the cob...

No two mates are alike with the same issues, so none of us are food intake specialists. We only answer based on us and our stoma experiences....

Try foods, remember the standard rule: water is your friend and chew, chew, chew. I avoid seeds and pits, but eat around them, etc.....

Butter, butter, butter. Everything is better with butter and salt...

Munch on, keep us posted....Be safe, be smart.
