Filipino Ostomates: Struggling to Order Free Ostomy Samples?

Hi! First off to let you guys know the reason behind the struggle, is that I'm from the Philippines. Hence, the struggle of finding companies with decent ostomy bag samples are hard. I don't even know which of which from the companies even have a distributors in this country. The ones that contacted me back thru email are: Cymed, Nu-Hope, and Salts, so far. The rest of which were either assisted by relatives abroad in Japan or the US where the distributors are available, or never contacted me back regarding the free sample order. Secondly, I'm broke as you expected.

I've been second guessing that the ones that didn't contact me are already processing my order, I hope so but I won't expect much. My main concern is how long for my fellow ostomates in the Philippines to receive your free sample orders? And which companies did you inquire? Thank you if you'd respond. x

That is so fustrating. The universities that is funded by the state donates abroad range of ostomy supplies to patients with lower incomes but i wouldn't have a single clue for international shipping to the Pacific? Many many best wishing and good & better health to you.

I've had my ostomy for over 50 years, since I was a kid, and didn't think I really needed to be part of the ostomy site. But once active, I came to realize, that although I may not need help at the time, I was able to reach out and help others in need. Back in the day, before stoma therapists, I use to visit new patients in the hospital or homes ... While professionals are great, it is also good to be able to speak with people with personal experience. I was a free member for awhile, but after writing often, I was given free months. I then started paying, and decided to just take lifetime membership. After all, I was going to have my ostomy for the rest of my life. I'm one of those people who can disappear for a few months at a time, but I'm always glad that the site is here, I can return and reconnect with old friends, and make new ones.
