Beautiful Day

It's a beautiful day today. The sun is shining, and it's not that cold. It's not supposed to get lower than 50 degrees. We don't usually have freezing weather this time of year; that usually comes in January. We even had some snow, and in some parts of Texas, it was enough to stick. It was so beautiful while it lasted; however, I am soooo glad to see the sun and warmth. I hope we have warm weather for a while because in January and February, it's really, really bad.
Well, it's not long until Christmas, and the true feasting will begin. We ostomates have to really be careful about what we eat. Not just for our sakes, but for those around us.... A lot of cooks put nuts in their cookies and food. Gee, I do love nuts, but a no-no they are. There are so many delicious gassy foods too that I love. You know what? 'Tis the season, and I don't care. The price I may pay, but I will be careful. My, my, there are so many wonderful cooks on my end of the map. My New Year's resolution will be to get rid of what I have gained......
