DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION (STOMA).

I feel I should recriminate
whenever folk discriminate
against the sick and vulnerable
as this is simply horrible.

Hence, on a news item today
discrimination’s on display
in the New York marathon
where kit was barred yet sine qua non. (necessary)

The organisers thought they might
have the unrestricted right
to say this lady’s stoma gear
was not on their run to appear.

She tried to plead her case, but they
insisted that they had the sway,
so she was then forced to withdraw
which had never happened before.

She ran in London and Paris
and no one objected to this
so, quite rightly, this lady’s miffed
for at New York she had been stiffed.

In all, she lost five hundred pounds,
so she should surely have the grounds
for fees she’s paid to be reimbursed
before discrimination's worse.

I feel this case should go to court,
where principles could there be fought
and folks who make these bad decisions
should be made to make revisions.

Whenever there’s discrimination,
each and every single nation
should take responsibility
and find for disability.
