Hi lovelies, I have double ostomies, but the one-piece pouch I use on my ileostomy is hit and miss. Most of the time it comes unstuck. I have a pole and aerial retreat coming up in September, and there's a hot tub there that I would love to be able to use, but I don't trust this convex Coloplast SenSura Mio drainable. I've tried Salts holster and a few others, but I'm not getting anywhere. I keep asking my bag suppliers for a plaster-type convex wafer with a tap. I'd use my Welland urostomy bag, but the tap part is quite tiny, so even though I have a high watery output, it wouldn't pass certain foods, if this makes sense. I need a convex-type plaster backing ileostomy pouch with drainage. Is there anyone who could possibly recommend some, please, with the order number? Kind regards, Emm xx

Could you get the same brand of pouch as your urostomy? Maybe that would work better?

Also, consider flange extenders and a belt for extra security.

Every morning when I enjoy my big cup of coffee I scroll through this site and this warm feeling just overwhelms me.

I never post anything (too shy and it feels like I don’t have anything of interest to share tbh) but I sure read a lot of posts from you guys and they are so informative, supportive encouraging and so so full of love and a big dose of humor.

I feel like part of the best family in the world (even though I am just sitting quietly in the corner lol).

I just wanted to share that feeling and say thanks to all of you for being so wonderful.

And also, please keep some fingers crossed for me this week. I have my blood test on Thursday, checking my CA 125 levels. Ovarian cancer reoccurrence fear unlocked again. I hate it!

Lots of love from Sweden

Have you contacted all companies and asked for samples? There are more than Coloplast and Hollister. Coloplast also has their older line; they have an Assura line and the Sensura line, which is different than the Sensura IMO line, which you can look into. You can go on the website and look at them. I do recommend calling these companies and asking for samples; you get farther than just asking for samples through the website. More places:

Convatec, Safe n Simple, Nu Hope, Cymed, Marlen,

And have you tried soaking in a bathtub to see how your bags will hold up?

Hello F

I use B. Braun Flexima Convex #42720P and have had no issues in a spa or bath. It should be easy to get samples in the UK and give them a try; I highly recommend the flange extenders that have been mentioned too.

You should also try samples from ConfiPlus Stoma Pockets.
