Short review. MAOM has helped me feel better by helping others it made me feel useful, worthy, important. It took my depression away. The more you use the site the more you get out of it.

Cooking oil. 🤷‍♂️ I've come to the conclusion that, for me, the Adapt lubricant I use is more to keep the bag from sticking to itself than to get the output to slide down. Its deodorizing part isn't bad either, in my opinion.

My ostomy nurse recommended Pam (or another brand) of cooking spray, both for the pouch and for the toilet. It works for me!

I mix a small bit of Adapt lubricant (1 tsp.) with hydrogen peroxide (1 tbsp.) - it works very well. Not sure about BC, but Alberta covers one bottle of Adapt every 2 months, and the peroxide from Walmart is inexpensive.
