Ostomy supplies for donation, unused in an opened package with expiration dates through the year 2029. Where to donate?

Nice to see they are unused. Friends of Ostomates Worldwide, I am sorry I do not have contact info.

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I have to admit this website does seem very friendly and helpful.

I will definitely log into chat as soon as I can and see who is around. Looking forward to meeting some like-minded people! :)

Hi.. whatever you do, don't throw them away.

To be honest, the shipping cost to send those supplies to either Kas or myself might give you pause.

It's unbelievable the price hike of shipping via UPS, USPS, FedEx.

Therefore, if you have a stoma nurse, talk to them. If you know a nurse or doctor locally, you can donate supplies and not spend

a dime. Have a favorite hospital? They should have a wound care department.

When Kas and I get donations, they usually sit past expiration.

We have considered donating our stock to clinics, hospitals, and organizations.

So think about it. People here will offer places to send your supplies to. Your call. 👍

You would think there would be a link or click-on thingy here where people could post what they need or what they have to donate.

That's a good idea. It certainly would help and be more efficient. The administrator would have to set this up, no?

I'm clueless on how to.

Yes, they would have to set it up. A separate thing to click on to donate or receive supplies. The easiest would be a simple way to contact those donating or receiving, like a private message but limited to that section only. Or something like that. The only way anyone knows that you and Kas do what you do is by you guys saying you do it on threads. Otherwise, nobody would ever know.

Also, think about local welfare agencies (some low-income individuals may need some of these supplies) and local hospice.
