Ok folks just had my fistulotomy plus biopsies 6 days ago. They fiund i do have anal cancer. I spoke to my surgein about getting a colostomy bag temporarily to help ease at least one symptom while i dealing with all of this. I guess my question is for those who have had a colostomy bag how did the healing go for it. I expect there to be some pain and swelling but i would assume ut would be less then the pain i have frim the fistula and from what chemo and radiation would add to it. Also assuming it will be way less then the pain when i had my c-section. Any input would be appreciated. Just looking to see what peoples experiences have been.
