Is there anyone out there that has a colostomy and a LapBand? Is there any reason that a surgeon would refuse LapBand surgery if someone has a colostomy?

Actually i recently read an article on this very issue alot of it depends on how straight forward your surgery was and the reasons for it but generally Bariatric Surgeons prefer to do Gastric sleeves for people with prior abdo surgery. Hope this helps
