I had my colostomy reversed on 8 June, the doctor are pleased with the way the operation went and my progress and discharge me from the hospital on 14 June, without any bowel movement. I asked the doctor after how many days to expect the first bowel movement and was informed it varies from person to person. On 12 June, I started clear liquid soups then on the 13 June, moved on to a low fibre diet as instructed by the doctor. It's now the 17 June and still no sign of any bowel movement, how to wait before becoming concerned?

I have learned a lot from this site. People are willing to share things that has worked for them,  Things like supplies, skin care, different surgeies, blockages, and a lot more.
