I discovered a neat trick,or maybe it's an old one I just didn't know about.
When changing my pouch I use "Brava Lubricating/Deordorant". I now take one drop of the lubracant and put it in the grove of the flange that attaches to the wafer (the tuperware part). This makes R&I of the pouch way easier and for people like myself who must burp the appliance often....makes that much easier too.
U can also put mints in ur pouch too as it disolves it will dilute the oder....

After I got my ostomy I found this site and got a lifetime membership. I have had so much help from the core members, things that even the wound care nurses didn't know.
