Has anyone out there ever tried them. I'm intrigued and am wondering if the silicone stays in place and doesn't deteriorate from the output. Any advice? Thank you.

I haven't tried them. I have tried paste but was using it incorrectly. As I understand it now, the paste is for filling in any irregularaties like divits or maybe deep scar wounds. I took it to mean glue.
