Has anyone tried Colo-Majic Flushable Liners with Hollister 2-piece system?

This topic is about the experiences of using Colo-Majic flushable liners with Hollister 2-piece ostomy systems. The original poster is curious about these liners and is seeking feedback from others who have tried them. Here are some insights and advice gathered from the discussion:

1. Compatibility observations:
- Many users have found that the liners work well with Convatec 2-piece systems. However, when used with Hollister 2-piece appliances, they might impair the seal and allow odors to escape.
- A long-term user with 13 years of experience suggests that the liners can be used with any 2-piece appliance that snaps on, similar to Tupperware. If snapping becomes difficult, they recommend moistening the wafer rim with a little water or lotion.

2. Product improvements and features:
- The liners are now advertised as biodegradable, which is a recent update reported in Phoenix Magazine.
- Colo-Majic’s website provides tutorials and information on how to order the liners.

3. Flushing and disposal:
- While earlier complaints about clogging were common, they seem to be less frequent now. However, one user in an older building could not flush the liners. Instead, they empty the contents into the toilet and then seal the liner in a diaper pail.
- Even if not flushed, using the liner can extend the life of a pouch by a couple of days.

4. Quality-of-life benefits:
- Users who have found a good seal with the liners describe them as "absolutely loved" and note a "much improved quality of life." They appreciate the easier emptying process and the reduced frequency of pouch changes.
