I do try to have confidence in my surgeon. She saved my life before. When I first met her, though, I was in a coma. But she did save my life, so I think she is a good surgeon.

Good luck with your op. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see how you get on.

You are not pregnant, are you? Every time the word "pregnancy test" comes up with me, I want to laugh out loud… first, I burned down the cave in 2016, and two, my oldest is 34 and the youngest is 30! Me, pregnant… as if!!!

I hope your procedure goes well and you come out feeling good as new. I'll be thinking of you.

I laugh hard every time they ask me if I had a hysterectomy. Especially after they just asked and know I had a hysterectomy... they give me a cup to pee, haha, and I have to tell them again, no possible way.

No, I am not pregnant, but they have to check anyway because I still have my period and have been in menopause for over a year, which is when they can stop asking. Grrr.........though because I know I am not pregnant.

Yeah, they always check no matter what, unless you had a hysterectomy. It's not really a big deal; all you do is pee in a cup, take a couple of seconds.

I know, but I hate doing it. I always manage to get pee on my hand. LOL

Lol... get a urostomy and you can have pee on your hand multiple times a day. You get used to it.

Though I'm glad that I'm past the point of needing pregnancy tests. Between a complete hysterectomy and being 63 years old, no one even asks anymore. Though from Beth's earlier comment, age may be the thing that is saving me more than the hysterectomy. Smh.

And remember... get stung by a stingray at the beach... have someone pee on it. Works wonders.... Has to be true. I watched a "Friends" episode about it on TV. 😊

Eeww... I think I will skip getting stung and skip getting peed on.

If I can have nothing to drink on the morning of the operation, then I don't think I will be able to pee.

No thanks, one ostomy is enough. And it craps on me. Nothing feels better than when your ostomy uses you for a toilet!

I keep trying to convert you single baggers to a double bagger. I worry that your stomas get lonely. 🤣

Oh, he doesn't get lonely; he has my belly button to keep him company. LOL
