Effective Ways to Apply Ostomy Tube Paste

I had a real hard time spreading the paste around my stoma and feathering it to almost skin level, l tried my fingers no , l tried a tooth pick no l then tried a q-tip it was a no until l dunked it in water just roll between fingers you don't want drips it works great to spread the paste and you can butt (no pun intended ) right up to your stoma , l usually have a couple of tips ready .It has helped me and l hope it will help others too.  Carol.B

Hi Carol i dont put the paste on my skin i put it on the back of the wafer, around the hole that i cut to fit my stoma, like toothpaste onto a tooth brush.
