I'm new to this blog stuff... I've had a colostomy for going on 4 years now! Wow, how time flies. We all know that; that's why we must make the most of each bright new day, think positive, happy thoughts, and remember that when you're down, there's someone else out there who is way worse off than you. "I cried when I had no shoes, until I saw a boy who had no feet."
Please, folks, I've been through my trauma and live with my health issues daily, some days worse than others. Yes, my life has made a dramatic change, but I'm thankful to be alive. I almost died 3 years ago. I am able to watch my 2 beautiful daughters grow through life and participate in child-rearing my 2 adorable grandchildren. I am young, and I feel young and alive. Live life to its fullest, for our lifetime goes by, and we have it but once. Love your family and friends. May God bless and watch over all of you on this site!
