Hello everyone! I am so happy to find a place that everyone can support and relate to one another. My mother is getting ready to go through surgery to have an ileostomy, and I am definitely going to refer her to this site. I used to have an ileostomy, so I know what she and the rest of you have and are going through. Through this process, though I/we (it was my mom's idea) have decided to start a clothing company specifically dedicated to creating fun, affordable, practical, and functional clothing for people with an ostomy. With the help of my mother and aunt, I feel that our clothing company could benefit a lot of people and help transition a lot of new and current ostomy bearers with their confidence and the lifestyle they wish to have. Please feel free to reply with comments and suggestions; we are only in the beginning stages of this project and are definitely in the research and investigative realm of our business plan.
