Ohhh, is that clock right?.....

3 o'clock, it's the dead of night.....

I slide my hand under the sheets.....

Ohhh, that's good.....

There are no leaks.....

I struggle out, as quiet as I can.....

Get positioned at the pan.....

Release the catch.....

Be careful there.....

But most of it is ghastly air.....

Back to bed.....

All nice and clean.....

I'm thinking now.....

Was that a dream?.....

Lovely, Blue ^^ In reading a lot of these posts and I see 3 a.m. is one of the popular time frames for most. I woke up at 3:10 and did exactly what you just wrote. When I told my daughter that I keep waking up around 3 - she informed me that was the witching hour. Hmmmm (I always thought it was midnight- but in most movies, she is correct.)

This site has been a blessing for me in learning how to cope with and navigate this journey as an ostomate. I have a colostomy as a result of a perforation in my colon since May of this year. I don't know yet if it will be permanent or reversible. The people on here have provided me with so much advice and information about living with an ostomy that I don't think I could get anywhere else. You all have given me hope and a place to come to for support. I still struggle with acceptance, but know that it will come if I am patient. Patience has never been my strong suit! Also, I love all the humor, although it really pissed me off when I first came on here. Thanks to all of you.

I love the verse blue. It captures the moment and feelings so well. I no longer wake up during the night - well, not for that reason! Also I tend to leave the irrigation sleeve on overnight which act as a mighty big bag and doesn't leak. Best wishes Bill
