The three-handed shyte.....

Now there's a to-do.....

It's a skill to learn.....

Dealing with poo.....

One on the bag.....

One to steady.....

Then you need one to get the paper ready.....

At the start, you fiddle and fumble.....

Doing your best not to stumble.....

Stains on the roll.....

The wall and the floor.....

I've even had them on the door.....

Quieter now are my screams of panic.....

Visiting the pan doesn't make me manic.....

Once you master this skillful art.....

You and your waste will easily part.....

Hi Blueonthetyne, I hope you are well. I am a little worried as I replied to your last message on 6th July and just hope everything is okay with you. Take care and look after yourself.

Hi Deb,

As you can see, the outpouring of love and support from this website will help you to find the strength to lift yourself up and out of your current emotional situation. I am lucky to have my husband by my side through all of this, so I will not even pretend to know how you feel and what you're going through alone. I do know that I have great friends on this site and in my life that have been by my side, and hopefully you have many by your side as well. You do have a lot of new friends here. Please feel free to talk through anything that is on your mind. We all go through a confidence deficit when we go through an ostomy surgery. Our body has been marred and your mind feels that way sometimes too. It is tough to move on, but you will. You will be stronger once you realize that you are still the beautiful woman you were prior to your surgery. Hopefully, you can reach out to a local support group and find some additional friends in your same situation. It always helps to have a sounding board wherever you find it!

Ahh bababoo, I'm sorry I've been busy and I don't come on here too often lately. I'm going to blame it on being so well and feeling the need to, but I know it's always there when days are tough. Did you like my poem? I'll do another soon. Just on the early bus to another day in paradise, or Gateshead as they call it. I did send you a message via the message service on here, but I don't think you're a full member, so maybe that's why you did not receive it. Went for a routine visit to Freeman this week and all seems well; they don't want to see me for 6 months. I can't believe how quickly this has all gone on and how well I am now compared to last year. Hope you and yours are all fine.

So good to hear that you are okay, and yes, I did like your poem... can't wait for the next one. I really only come on here when I receive the latest posts, but like you, I know it's here if I need it. That is brilliant news from the Freeman; keep up the good work, and before you know it, you will only be going once a year. Well, keep on enjoying paradise and best wishes to you and your family.

A very good afternoon to you, Bababoo. I've tried sending you a private message again. People have told me you should get it as I'm a full member. Check your inbox at the top. Hope you are well and enjoying this unexpected Northeast summer. Are you going away on holiday anywhere?
