I've just discovered these strips that go over the seal of the bag and they are great. Whoopee, I'm still learning.

That's great. Have you tried the Sure Seal rings? I don't leave home without them. They go completely around the whole flange to stop leaks from all sides. Here is a link if you would like to check them out or ask for samples. http://alpglobal.com/Sure-Seal-TM-Rings.html Hmm, I don't think the link works here; you could just search for Sure Seal rings.

After I got my ostomy I found this site and got a lifetime membership. I have had so much help from the core members, things that even the wound care nurses didn't know. If you haven't been through this journey you don't know - only the people that have experienced this first hand truly understand what your going through. The support is enormously helpful getting through this. Afterwards when you start to learn how to deal with this new normal you can begin to help others.  ...mtnman.

I have used both products and Brava wins hands down. Sure Seal Rings are good but don't breath with the skin. Brava are wonderful.

Yep, I agree with Bosco, Brava are great. I'm thinking of trying those mold things you place over the stoma next. Any suggestions, anyone?
