In April, I needed a Hartmann procedure. No prior symptoms of diverticulitis. It came as a complete surprise. I have learned a new normal. Tests show that I am good to go for the reversal surgery, scheduled for June 30, 2023. I am very nervous about the outcome and expectations. Any advice would be helpful. My husband and I have a cruise booked for the end of September, departing from Barcelona. I am freaked out about being out of the United States should something go wrong, along with how my energy level will be.
