IT’S A LITTLE AMAZING that people with ostomies all have their own, unique methods for dealing with them. We use different products, we follow different protocols and procedures, we focus upon different aspects of the reality that we otherwise share. I have seen folks on here make reference to certain products that they use when I had no idea what they were talking about. When questions arise and someone poses that question seeking feedback, the variety of responses can be surprising. It just illustrates the truism about how different people are, even when dealing with the same or similar issues. It brings to mind the world-famous poet Anonymous who wrote: I eat my peas with honey / I’ve done it all my life / It makes the peas taste funny / But it keeps them on the knife!
