Convatec Pouches Quality Concerns

Has anyone noticed that the Convatec pouches are not as well made lately? They sound flimsy, and I have noticed that there is sometimes a separation between the two layers at the tail. Quality control is not as good, or am I imagining it?

Kathy convetec isn't the only one. For over a year now, I have noticed Coloplast bags are having the same issue. I know for a fact they have gone thinner and cheaper with the plastic. Excuse me, they say they use laminate, and Coloplast also has holes, faulty bottoms, and other issues they had never had before. I don't know what is going on with these companies and why they feel like they can mess with our livelihood and think it's okay.

And anyone else notice toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues thinning out as well? Used to be I could place 2 squares of t.p. over my stoma, then a temporary shield while drying off after a shower. Now those 2 sheets just crumble! 😖🥵🤬jb

Same with Salts Confidence B. Peeling off after a couple of hours, so I have to use extender strips and tape to get any decent wear out of them. I'm convinced it's deliberate by the companies so you need other bits of equipment from them. I've had my little friend for over 30 years, but it's only in the last 12 months that I've had to start using residue remover, barrier wipes, etc. to counteract the issues the products cause.

Recently started having issues (rash) from the tape surrounding the Convatec pouch… wondering if the tape has changed or if it's just my old skin…. I also do not need a remover wipe any longer… the tape just peels off with a gentle tug…🧐🥴
