One of the difficult situations for me was understanding pancaking. Good to know I'm not alone with this situation. I looked it up and found a medical site that gave me info on it and info on how to deal with it in the best way.

I'm glad you found a website that was helpful to you. You can share the website here if you think it would be of help to others. Pancaking is a real problem for some people. Only on rare occasions is it a problem for me, usually resulting in a leak when it happens. But that has been like twice in the last year. I have an ileostomy, so it's less of a problem for me than it is for those with a colostomy.
