I use ConvaTec 2-piece. Check out the various manufacturers and ask for some samples . Good luck 🌈

Most manufacturers have a two-piece design. When we began, we went on places like UOAA website to get familiar with and order free samples of products to try.

There's not a design with the connector exactly like Hollister, but other connectors work great too. Ordering samples is really easy to do and the best way to discover what works.

Yeah wow, this site helped so much, I mean really who do you know with this infliction? No one, felt so alone and disgusted by myself every turn.
But it ended up being so damn strengthening, I got fucking moving, really only another choice.

I was damaged by a procedure and ended waking with this, I understand all of you.. perhaps you had to have it, I get it.. doesn't matter either way.
Just wanted to share that

The new and improved Hollister two piece bag is SO MUCH BETTER than the old bag.

I like the Coloplast but get samples of all the brands and see what you like.

I've used some of Hollister's systems. I liked their quiet felt pouches. Then they discontinued them. 😒 But that got me to shop around, testing other manufacturers. I didn't get too far, as I have settled with Coloplast's Sensura Mio products. Currently using up their one-piece pouches. I don't mind them. I think I had some issues getting more than a couple of days' use during the summer heat. However, I think it's a common issue with any product. When I use these up. I have their Sense a Mio Flex two-piece system, where the pouches stick to the wafer, much like a Command Hook wall mount. Essentially, it becomes a one-piece pouch. 🤷‍♂️ I really only prefer the two-piece because I can use my hole cutter. Call me lazy. I don't always cut smoothly with scissors.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I just received my order from Hollister( 2 piece) and the pouches have a different type of material that's very poor quality. You may have seen some of the posts from 2024 and before. The material is thinner, makes a "krinkle" sound, does not hold up well at all; one day my pouch just got a big hole in it and worse point of all is that it is no longer odorproof like they used to be. It's very devastating to me. I hope it is true that they are coming out with a new and improved 2 piece, but I'm afraid you may be referring to this one. It is said that they use this new "plastic material because it is better for the environment.

What does it do to us ostomates?

Thanks again for replying!
