I need some advice! I have had my ostomy for a little over a year with very little issues. But in that time I have developed a partial hernia which my doc said to just keep an eye on and we could decide if I want to fix it now or fix it if I decide to close the ostomy with the reversal. I've also been on Ozempic for my diabetes and have adapted a sort of schedule with taking the medication and about how long it takes for me to have output. Ok so my dilemma is I started getting sick last week like cold or flu symptoms not serious and also started developing a pilonidal cyst on my tailbone. My PCP prescribes antibiotics for that issue so I started the pills. On Thursday I ate a small bowl of soup to chase my cold away and took a shot of NyQuil. I laid down for a nap and a couple hours later woke up with intense nausea and had a rough vomit session. I noticed my output was very watery at the time. Just drank ginger ale and had jello that day. Friday night was feeling much better and had a hamburger for dinner. My output was still watery. Yesterday I woke up starving so I made some eggs and coffee and still had a little watery output then nothing for the rest of the day. I have been passing a lot of gas. I talked to an ostomy nurse last night she said it could have been the antibiotic so I stopped taking it. Im still passing gas and have noticed very small but thicker output released overnight...I'm scared is it a blockage???
