Hello I went to the hospital yesterday and was told might have gallstones. I get a pain from chest round to back. Really hurts when breathing. I have had my ileostomy for 5 months. Has anyone had this problem. I dont know what to do x

I'm sorry I do not have any idea what you should do, didn't the hospital give you any advice? And why did they say might? Are you waiting for test results to come back? Have you tried researching the information on line thru a medical site? What about your primary care doctor or general practitioner?

Well it's just coming upto a year since I had my emergency stoma. Since joining MAOM I have learnt all different kinds of ideas to help with the stoma. Not only that I have made a lot of good friends who I can talk to. The beauty of this site is it's not just giving tips and ideas we talk about anything and everything. Hey Stace, I had gallstones and the pain was unbearable. I've been told it's worse than giving birth. I'm a guy so I'll never know, but I can't imagine enduring that pain even if it meant the discontinuation of the species. But then, guys might handle pain differently.
Seriously though, can you get an ultrasound? You don't need any more stuff to deal with.
