Have any women had liquid poop discharge from their vagina and pain in their lower abdomen?

What causes this?

No, that sounds serious. Call your doctor immediately.

Hi Lesley, Mary Ann is correct. Call your doctor and explain what is happening or better yet go to the ER. A doctor may not be able to see you over the weekend and I would not wait to get this situation checked out. Let the ER doctor direct you and figure out what is going on. ER's also have GI specialists on call so they can be consulted or better yet see you at the hospital. Take care and good luck. Keep us posted. LH

If I was a relative newbie with an ostomy, I have no doubt that this site would be very helpful to me.  The members are quick to respond to questions and issues and they are filled with experience.  When I joined, I already had a lifetime with an ostomy, so I just regard it as a place to meet and communicate with other folks similarly situated.  Either way, it is a good site.

Leslie, I did have stool passing through the vaginal opening, (fortunately for me it was very close to the vaginal opening, so it was easy to cleanse) and what I had was called a 'fistula', which is an opening or tunnel that forms, and this 'fistula' was between the rectum and vagina. Not a fun issue to work with, but it did require medical and surgical attention. Of course, I do not know if this is your issue, but I do agree with other replies, you do need to speak with a physician on this..... and pain is a warning sign that 'something' isn't quite right, please take care of yourself for us.... and I hope you find a resolution! xoxo

Please go see your doctor or consultant. I'm not trying to worry you, but some women get a fistula between the rear and front passages, which allows this sort of crossover. It can sometimes be treated just by resting the area and allowing your body to heal. Good luck.
