I would like to know who is going to the convention in St. Louis. This will be my first one to attend.
After a year on here and chatting with a lot of people on this site, I would like to meet you all if you are going to be there.
I hope to learn a lot of good information about having a colostomy, besides what I have learned so far.

I will be there this year! Going with a friend...the same one I went with on my first time, 14 years ago at the same location. Hope to see you there and hang out! It's a real blast!

Hello and welcome to meet an ostomate. The site charges a fee only for Full Membership, you can still interact with members here via the forums and the public chat room with free membership. The site charges a fee since it has expenses ... as do all websites, people have to spend their time to run and maintain the site, buy bandwith, servers, and other things. I am a life member here, it cost me 56$....about the price of 1 cup of coffee a week for a year. I think that is a very small charge for such a big reward. In my opinion this site is the best ostomy-related web site on the net. I hope you will stick around awhile and see for yourself. Hi, I am new to this world of ostomy and believe that I can get myself to adjust to almost anything. I thought by attending the conference this would help to do so and "open" my world up, enable me to meet others and find the latest and greatest in ostomy supplies. Can anyone elaborate on attending who has been there before?
I am in AZ so I will be flying in and most likely staying at the Hyatt. I look forward to expanding my horizons with the rest of you.

Well, I see that several Ostomates are going to the Conference, good.
Let's make it a point for all on here that go to meet up. I will be there on the 2nd.
Staying at the same hotel.
I have been to several other types of conferences over the years.
And at times, I have shared a room with someone to save $$$. I am a guy, and would share the cost of the room with a guy.
Just a thought...
I will try to keep a list of the people from this site that are going.
