Hello penguins7. Thanks for sharing this information. I was using the Adapt remover spray for years and it was okay. However, about six months ago it did not seem to work quite so well on certain wafers so I went to meeting and got as many samples of different products as I cold to 'test' them.
This was not a comprehensive test but just to see if I could find something that worked better than what I was using at the time. What I found was that it was not dependent on just the remover spray but several other factors. I use two different wafers and the some products worked differently on each.
Also the skin barrier spray (or cream) makes a difference - as does the amount of sweat and oil I produce from the skin under the wafer.
I did not get on very well with any of the remover 'wipes' as they were not as effective as the sprays for penetrating under the wafer. I found that if I was more patient with the spray as it seeped under the wafer the whole process was much more effective and less painful.
In the end I reasoned that the best products for me were a combination of 'SALTS' barrier spray and Salts remover spray - which has a nice minty smell.
I think that maybe the two products were designed to go together which might be why they seem to work more effectively.
The problem with all these products is that they work better for some people and on some skins and wafers than they do on others.
I would advise people to get samples and try them all out for themselves.
Best wishes
Bill
