This second grade teacher was trying to teach her students about self-esteem.
She said to her class, "Anyone who feels like they're dumb please stand up."
She didn't think anyone would stand up and she would simply make the point that no one is dumb.
About that time, little Johnny stood up! She thought, "Oh, now what am I going to do?"
She said, "Johnny, do you really feel like you're dumb?"
He said, "No, ma'am, I just hate to see you standing by yourself."
