I think anneaux means ring in French so perhaps it could be a French term for an Eakin seal ring?

Just a thought.  Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I can't find anything through Google either. Also had a look on the Edge Park website as you send it was from 'Edge Park' and can't see it on there either - https://www.edgepark.com

Hey guys,

Your Admin here. I just noticed this topic and remembered that a member posted information about the 'anneaux ring seals' sometime in the past. There was a bit of a cofusion about the name at that time too, so the poster clarified it for us. 'Anneaux ring seals' are actually Sure Seal Rings and they are sold through Edge Park and many other dealers.

Hope it helps

I have been using the sure seal rings for 8 months and can't say enuff about them.  A member of this site put me onto them. They are hypo-allergenic, skin friendly and act as a barrier that keeps your flange firmly in place. They are applied after the eakin seal ( which I also think is the best) and the flange or wafer.  Then the sure seal ring is applied next and then the pouch. It has been a god send for me. They are also latex free. You can order samples from Active Lifestyle Products Inc. 1 877 257 4562. I would be happy to message or email with any of you who have questions about the rings.

What is the
"eakin seal"? Sometimes my wafer starts to pull away from my skin after a few days. Does the
eakin seal stop that from happening? Thanks a lot...Bill W.

I guess I should have said  Eakin  ostomy barrier seal.  It is used in place of paste. I use a barrier wipe and then use my hair dryer on the seal for about 30 seconds and then apply the eakin seal. The wafer goes next, then the sure seal ring and then the pouch.  The sure seal ring keeps the wafer application firmly in place.  This is my method and works perfectly for me.  After months of trial and error and a lot of help from a friend on this site-I have found success!!!

I love the Eaken seal. It has saved me alot of grief. My stoma is flush against my skin, so leaking is an issue for me. I have to use cement, then the seal. Between the two, I am dry for around 3 days, then I have to do it again. I dont use a hair dryer as it seems to seal ok like it is, plus I am putting it over the cement. Only way it will work for me. I have had a revision but it only made matters worse than they were, too many adhesions pulling my stoma back inside. Try the seal, it is neat.

I need to know how to apply it. Once the first step is completed, how does one peel the outer layer from the film? Help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
