I belong to a small bore .22 rifle shooting club. Unfortunately, I find lying and shooting in the prone position is now a little bit difficult due to the placing of my urostomy bag. Also, absolute stillness is a must for good scoring. However, they have an air pistol section, where the shooting is in the standing position, so I may change disciplines and give this a try.

Hi Vulcan, just wanted to add "I LOVE GUNS." When I was a kid, they were in the family, mainly for rabbit or roo shooting. Or get that money back, lol, no, I'm kidding. I was not allowed near them, as you could imagine. So, I never got the chance to even try one until my teens. And knowing what comes from using them, it was hard to do. Didn't realize until I got the chance. It was just a .22 pump action. Don't ask the name, no idea. But it was beautiful. So, I have had a thing for them and knives... or more the words, sword and daggers... Only for looking at... lmao... But they have to be exquisite in their own way. Ok, well enough of that. Good luck with trying the new way with your shooting. Sounds like fun... Take care... I'm out of here... later Tarababy

I take part in these forums almost every day. They and the people that contribute to them have made all the difference in my having the courage to live a normal life with an ileostomy. The people here are marvelous and come from all walks of life and from all over the world. Hearing what others have lived through has really helped me put my own experience in perspective.
