Woah!! I just checked the last time I wrote a blog on here, and all I can say is it has been far too long!
Since my last blog, there has been so much change... but all for the better! I remember reading a blog before from a fellow ostomate called "Not Always a Great Jerk Detector" or something similar, and all I can say is... too right!! But like I said, all the change is for the better, and if things hadn't turned out the way they are now, I wouldn't be spending time with someone who is genuinely lovely this time! He knows about my bag (although he doesn't know all the details of how ill I'd been), and he accepts it. The moment I showed him the bag, he smiled at me and just hugged me close, saying how little it mattered to him, so that's always a good thing :D
Another huge change is that I have finally finished my exams, so I've now got a long summer ahead of me before going back and starting my final year of college :D Woohoo! Can't wait to get to the end of that era and start life at uni and getting on with life!
I have also got myself a job! I've been working around the clock since I started a month ago, and I cannot wait until my first paycheck! I've already made a huge list of all the things I want to treat myself to and stuff that I definitely need! Plus, I've promised my best friend I'm going to treat her by buying her tickets to see one of our favourite comedians live (again) and a few big nights out! It feels so good to finally be getting back to a normal life, earning money, spending it wildly, and just enjoying myself!
Sorry to have left the blogging for so long, but what better way to start again than yet another uplifting slice of my life :) I hope you all enjoyed reading this, and leave me comments! Let me know how you are all doing!!

“Every morning with my coffee, I read here and feel wrapped in warmth - I hardly post, but it still feels like family.”
“Our oncologist literally wrote down the link; they said more patients need this website.”
“This place pulled me out of the dark. I went from lurking to living again.”
“At 3am, someone’s awake somewhere in the world. I’m never alone here.”
I’ve only been on this site a little bit, I hardly know how to navigate it, LOL! I just want to say that everyone seems so kind and supportive to each of the members and it’s not only helpful, it makes me happy that there really are so many nice people in this world that can sometimes feel so bleak and cold. I didn’t even know about this site until I found it by accident. I think the hospital staff should bring it to their patients’ attention. Thanks to all, even if you’re just listening!
