I'm here, I'm here. Let the bells ring and the banners fly...it's too good to be true, but I'm here. I just found out I get a reversal but not for nearly a year. First, the hematology, then a CT scan, then what's described as a fairly involved surgery. Oh my. Anyway, I "celebrated" by purchasing a brand new Fender Acoustic guitar. I used to teach guitar to young children years and years ago, but I haven't picked up a guitar for years. Ahh, those wonderful calluses are back.

Welcome back Itchy22. Although it hardly seems like anytime at all since we were lamenting your departure. Good luck with the guitar playing. Best wishes Bill

If I was a relative newbie with an ostomy, I have no doubt that this site would be very helpful to me.  The members are quick to respond to questions and issues and they are filled with experience.  When I joined, I already had a lifetime with an ostomy, so I just regard it as a place to meet and communicate with other folks similarly situated.  Either way, it is a good site.

Thanks, Bill. I eliminated the landline in favor of a $20 a month cell phone. Ta Da.

Good news is always welcome around here, Itch. Maybe you could put some of Bill's poetry to your soft acoustic or easy blues guitar rhythms. In any case, take your pick. PB

That sounds like a great idea PB. B. Withers is of course a direct reference to 'be with us', so it is a sort of collective name for anyone who wants to string along. I have written verses to suit existing tunes and thought about putting some of the others to some sort of lilt. Here is a thought I had about the rythm of the rhymes.

Hey Itchy, it's great news to hear from you, and it almost makes me feel like getting out my guitars. But after all these years, I'll have to take six strings off my 12-stringer until I develop some calluses, or just play the electric one and drive my wife over the edge. We wish you the best of luck, Ed.
