Hello everybody!
I am so sorry that I have not been on here in several months. I didn't realize that it had been since August when I was last on here! Wow, time flies.
I pray everyone is doing well. It has now been 2.5 years since my ileostomy reversal. I have adjusted well to my "new" normal. On a good day, I have around 3-4 BMs a day. I still take my Miralax every day, and the stricture in my rectum has not gotten worse; it has pretty much stayed the same.
In the last 3.5 years since my first surgery, I have lost a total of 65 lbs and am still losing more. On the advice of my oncology surgeon, and due to the severe shape my abdomen is in with hernias and tears, I have to lose more to avoid more tears. Amazing journey!

I just finished reading the Ostomy Tips Book under COLLECTIONS at the top of the page. I did not realize how much information was there. It covers a lot
of things that people have questions about. Hope this may answer some things for people. Best wishes and stay safe
