Sorry it's been so long!!!

This topic is about someone sharing their journey 2.5 years after having their ileostomy reversed. They provide an update on their health and weight-loss progress, as well as their current routine. Here are some key points from their update:

- It has been 2.5 years since their ileostomy reversal, and their bowel function has stabilized with about 3 to 4 movements per day.
- They are taking Miralax daily to help with bowel movements.
- A rectal stricture that was identified earlier has not changed.
- Over the past 3.5 years since their first surgery, they have lost 65 pounds and are continuing to lose weight.
- Their oncology surgeon has advised further weight loss to prevent worsening of multiple abdominal hernias and tears.

In response, fellow members have offered encouragement, supporting the surgeon’s advice to continue losing weight to avoid further complications, and wishing them success in reaching their goal weight.
