Hi nogutz ~ hope all goes as well as possible on Tuesday; however, sometimes things have an amazing tendency to eventually change for the better, even though the change is often when and in ways we can never expect ahead of time, as in the following news story:

.
The neglected dog already had it rough — her teeth were in need of dental work, and her nails were ingrown. And then, an eagle snatched the down-on-her-luck canine off the ground.

After a while, the 18-pound dog was too much for the eagle to handle (deep talon marks prove the dog was delivered via nature's air mail), and she was dropped on the grounds of the Shorncliffe Nursing Home in Sechelt, BC, where staff found the injured dog and brought her to the Eagleridge Veterinary Hospital for treatment.

The broken bones and deep lacerations from the fall were immediately treatable, but the issues arising from a life of neglect were more serious.  Fortunately, donations from the public helped fund the extensive dental surgery the little dog needed, and within a few days of dropping from the eagle's claws, the little dog was adopted.

Ironically, her fall from the sky may have saved her life.

Hi Hatlady and all,

I've had my ostomy for over 50 years, since I was a kid, and didn't think I really needed to be part of the ostomy site. But once active, I came to realize, that although I may not need help at the time, I was able to reach out and  help others in need. Back in the day, before stoma therapists, I use to visit new patients in the hospital or homes ... While professionals are great, it is also good to be able to speak with people with personal experience. I was a free member for awhile, but after writing often, I was given free months. I then started paying, and decided to just take lifetime membership. After all, I was going to have my ostomy for the rest of my life. I'm one of those people who can disappear for a few months at a time, but I'm always glad that the site is here, I can return and reconnect with old friends, and make new ones. This is an excellent site ... Best regards to all ... and Best wishes for a Healthy and Happy New Year.

It sounds like a prolapse. I've never experienced one but I know they can be corrected although it will probably require minor surgery.

Good luck.

Thanks all   and yes  PJT that is what the doctor called it  and hopefully will see surgeon tomorrow as he was not in  today . So just taking it easy.

When I seen prolapsed , I was glad to see it, to refresh my fading memory. And that is just another good thing about this site . thanks all. Always look forward to some more surgery.as its been near 3 and a half years since last one.

So seen surgeon and will fix that when he goes in to remove butt and work on the hernia! So maybe in the fall would be nice , and  enjoy the summer. Sounds like a good bottle of medicine!  take care
