What can you do about mucus that just hangs around inside and adds pressure and irritation? My pelvic floor does not work, and I tried to sit, but it won't come out.

Maybe try just a small warm water enema and see if that helps.

Hey there,

Is your pelvic floor not working just to get the mucus out, or is that why you have an ostomy?

I just wanted to tell all the users of this site that I really love having the opportunity to express my feelings here. I'm positive that many feel the same. I wish that all here come out of the experience you have here will be like mine. Support and understanding from others with issues similar like each other will help us all and give the relief we all crave, well, I'm selfish. I'm here because I need support. And I find enough here to help in the tough times. Thank you. I really mean it.

If nothing is coming out, are you sure it's mucus and not tenesmus?

It doesn't work that great at all. I know I have a lot of inflammation, but I'm not sure what I can do to help it.
