Mrs. B's favorite, the Polar Bears. One of our cruise vacations was spent onboard a Russian polar exploration vessel, The Orlova. Dubbed... The love tub. Sailed from Churchill far into the Canadian Arctic. One sunny day, we stopped at an island with high cliffs full of nesting seabirds. Patrolling the beach below... Polar bears. Occasionally a chick would tumble down, attracting an interested bear. Mrs. B was appalled, but that's nature.

Another day, another adventure. I'm liking this retirement stuff. 😉
Had no trouble wearing my 3-inch wide Nu-Hope support belt all day. The zoo has lots of nice, well-maintained bathrooms with paper towels and air dryers. And water fountains with a water bottle fill station.
For accessibility, the zoo provides small vans, extended golf cart-type vehicles, full-sized buses, and helpful guides everywhere to answer questions or point you in the right direction. If you're planning a trip to California, definitely plan on visiting for a day or two.
