Is it okay to lie in the sun when it is very hot too? Will the ostomy wafer melt in the sunshine?

Mine survives the FL sunshine. If it melts you should change brands. Sunning is fine. 😉

It won't harm the wafer. If you've had recent surgery, it's best to protect your scar for the first 6-12 months after surgery from the sun.

Be careful. I live a block from the beach. I see tourists receive horrible sunburns all the time. It does not take long.
