I hate filters. I want to keep mine covered all of the time, but they never send enough stickers. Any suggestions?

Would those sticky dots they sell for labeling work? I never cover my filters. Because I use closed end bags that get changed 2-3 times a day, the filters generally work great for me. (They're not on long enough to get soiled and clogged!) Maybe I should just mail you my stickers instead of throwing them out. Lol

Hi Marcia, I just use tape or a small section of barrier extender. Good Luck ---Littlefish

Put tape over it or switch to a comparable bag with no filter.

Do you mean you hate the filter because it works? And you want to cover it because? Please explain. Most filters don't usually work, is the consensus here.

Lol I am right there with you I hate filters too. They make bags without filters, have you called and asked to see if your bag model comes in filter less?

I'm assuming you are referring to covering the filter for the shower like myself.

What I do is reuse them by sticking it next to the filter after the area is dry enough.

When I got samples from Coloplast, I got a sheet of stickers. I'm still holding onto them for spares but, as others have said, any tape or sticker will do.

For Hollister filters, I have a spare pouch I put on for the shower I rinse out and hang to dry afterward.  Like Susan said, the closed pouch doesn't last long needing change often anyway.  I found they get soiled super fast too if you're not on top of managing crap away from the filter.

I know that Coloplast has some bags without filters. I should send for samples. I use a one-piece Convatec bag right now. Filters pretty much do not work anyhow, and too many bags have them these days.

I agree. For me, filters caused a lot of issues, took all the air out of the bag, and I like a little air in my bag around my stoma so I don't pancake. Also, they just clogged up way too quickly, so then it's pointless to have a filter.
