I just found feces coming out of my rectum. I’ve had mucus there before but never feces. Is this normal?

With your rectum still intact you will have mucus that comes out. That wont go away, and if you don't pass mucus can will harden and turn a different color.  If it's mucus that had hardened and finally came out yup that is normal.. stool is not normal.

Hi, I was told from my Surgeon that feces still may come out. I’m not the professional but from what I was told it can happen.
