I just found feces coming out of my rectum. I've had mucus there before, but never feces. Is this normal?

With your rectum still intact, you will have mucus that comes out. That won't go away, and if you don't pass mucus, it can harden and turn a different color. If it's mucus that has hardened and finally came out, yup, that is normal. Stool is not normal.

I just wanted to take the time to wish everyone a good holiday. I especially would like to thank this website and the folks that run it and keep it going. Do you have a colostomy or an ileostomy? You can get feces with a loop ileostomy.
