Tomorrow at 8 a.m., I am having the ileostomy reversed. I had to come in and say thank you to everyone who has helped here along the way. I had some pretty low points on this journey, and this community was so supportive and helpful. I appreciate everyone who has chimed in with advice and words of encouragement.

One day, when you least expect it, there will be a message in your inbox... always remember that when you're not looking, life has a brilliant way of surprising you with someone in your life you have so much in common with, and either you make a great new friend or you will find the person you were always looking for! I am out of surgery; so far, I feel good. I am still on clear liquids with the catheter in, so I haven't had a wake-up in the bowels as of yet. That's the part I'm kind of on edge for. I will definitely update: the good, bad, and odd too 💜
