Lost my entire sigmoid 5 years ago, had rehook surgery 2 months after. My bum was off duty for 2 months, I still have problems with scritchies....is this considered leakage??? I never really got an answer from the doctor that I did ask...I assume my sphincter is just not coming back good enough...there is an internal sphincter that you do not have voluntary control over, maybe that is the trouble....I do not know, I just know it is no fun.

When I had an ileostomy, the bags wouldn't stick to me....but for anyone else with that problem, there is a sticky spray that is available to help...I still had accidents, but it helped a little...just grateful for rehook....I had amazing home nurses that would even come out in the middle of the night when I had the bag and it wouldn't stick.

Very helpful

That sounds awful, nose. Have you tried creams for nappy rash? There is one called Sudocrem in the UK, but anything with zinc oxide in it should help. I know that solutions of sodium bicarbonate are good to soothe insect bites or rashes, just a couple of teaspoons in a cup of water and then dabbed on. Hope this might help.

Yeah wow, this site helped so much, I mean really who do you know with this infliction? No one, felt so alone and disgusted by myself every turn.
But it ended up being so damn strengthening, I got fucking moving, really only another choice.
That's

I was damaged by a procedure and ended waking with this, I understand all of you.. perhaps you had to have it, I get it.. doesn't matter either way.
Just wanted to share that

Thank you. I have not tried that. I have used Desitin, but maybe that is not pure zinc oxide. I have never tried soda water, though. I will try anything. Thank you so much.
