I have disconnected. J pouch mucus output has become very smelly. Any thoughts and advice, please?

If the smell is new... it could be that your disease has become active. This happened to me when my Crohn's disease became active and I was not on Humira.

I was a fly on the wall for a while, before I joined the group. I think you will find it's a good bunch of people, who understand what you are dealing with like no one else could. Glad you found us.

I can only speak from my own experience. I was passing a lot of mucus; mine smelled really bad. I'm not joking when I say you could smell me coming. It was really embarrassing. I had a bad infection; it's why I had my non-functioning J-pouch, rectum, and anus removed. See your doctor to be on the safe side and know what's going on.
