More than 2 years after my operation and have been fitted with a Ostemy bag my old surgery wound has opened again. Most likely after a few good coughing spells. Had the Medical Nursed visiting me every 2 days until lthe wound closed again. And once more after a good sneez it opened up again. A real pain as it takes lots of bandaged and patience to completely heal again
After all that time back to the Surgeon again!! Opa Ray.

I just wanted to take the time to wish everyone a good holiday. I especially would like to thank this website and the folks that run it and keep it going. This site has been a life saver for me and I am so thankful I found it. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and Hanukka and if you don't claim either holiday, I hope you have a nice day. See you all next year!

Had the nurse back today and inspected the re-opened wound. Looks not too bad, cleaned and re bandaged again and she will come back Saturday. Then every 2 dn day after until the wound is closed again. What would we do without the "Angels of Mercy"!! I will never complain about our Medical System!!  Opa Ray

Sounds like you need someone who will help you stop coughing and sneezing!!  Maybe make a sign:  No Coughing, No Sneezing, No Laughing

I'm glad you have a wound care nurse who can help you.  Good luck.
